Upper respiratory infections, sinusitis, ear aches, bronchitis, and gastrointestinal concerns are year-round conditions that are treated on a daily basis. Sprains, fractures, burns, skin infections and childhood illnesses are other frequently treated conditions.

8/15/2014Deaconess Hospital Welcomes New CEO Maurine CateRockwood Health System is pleased to welcome Maurine Cate as the new CEO of Deaconess Hospital! Maurine comes to Deaconess from McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon. Under her leadership, McKenzie-Willamette has thrived. In addition to a recently announced $80 million renovation and expansion at the hospital, she made enhancements to cardiovascular and emergency services, including the recent opening of McKenzie Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and the ER’s successful 30-minute-or-less service pledge. To support these services and others, she worked closely with medical staff and recruited 63 physicians to the area.
