Professional Interests and Procedures:

Dr. Rush practices full spectrum Family Practice with an
emphasis in musculoskeletal medicine and wellness. She was team
physician for the US Ski and Snowboard Association, travelling with
the team, treating injuries to keep the athletes performing safely,
and covering national and international races. She worked with
Ballet West, a professional ballet company in Salt Lake City, UT
and University of Utah athletes. She covered short track speed
skating and figure skating for the 2002 Olympics. She has worked
with athletes of all levels, grade school kids to weekend warriors
to professional athletes. She has 20 years' experience with onsite
coverage of high school football games. Dr. Rush enjoys teaching.
She was faculty at a residency program affiliated with the
University of California at San Francisco, and has continued
teaching medical and physician assistant students. Dr. Rush
strongly integrates prevention and health promotion into her

Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Dr. Rush is an avid runner; she was on the University of Washington track team many years ago and continues to run local races. She enjoys back-country telemark skiing and recently started snow mobiling. She and her husband bike together, pulling their dogs behind in the trailer. She loves to spend time on the water, just hanging out or trying to fish. She loves to cook and bake when she has time, taking food from her small garden.
