Cass Ragan, M.D., CPE, joined the Rockwood Behavioral Health Center in February 2012. He received his undergraduate and Master’s in Business Administration degrees from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, also in Dallas. Dr. Ragan completed an internship in internal medicine at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, TX, and a residency in psychiatry at Sheppard-Pratt Hospital in Towson, MD. He also completed the Object Relations Psychoanalytic Family Therapy Training Program at the Washington School of Psychiatry and training as an Adult Psychoanalyst (and Child/Adolescent-Trained Psychoanalyst) through the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute, as well as graduated from the Executive Master of Business Administration Program through the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in Dallas, TX. Dr. Ragan is a Diplomate in Adolescent Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry and Neurology, and a Certified Physician Executive. He is a member of many organizations including the American Psychiatric Association, the American College of Physician Executives, the American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Medical Association. Dr. Ragan is currently writing a book concerning the psychology of ethical deviance in organizations.
