The Rockwood Cancer and Blood Specialty Center provides
comprehensive and personalized cancer treatment. A team of
specialists, advanced medical and surgical treatment options and
coordinated access to appropriate clinical trials combine to
provide a total patient care experience. Our physician providers
had intensive training and education, specializing in hematology,
gynecology, urology, breast, colon and lung diseases. Additionally,
Oncology trained Surgeons are available for consultation and
surgical interventions as well as minimally invasive surgical
specialists to treat cancer. Our providers support
rapid access for consultation within 24 hrs of getting the initial
referral or request to be seen.

This integrated, multidisciplinary approach for patients and
their families provides a collective best course of treatment for
Rockwood Clinic now offers nurse navigation to facilitate the
patient experience. A Nurse Navigator is a
patient educator and advocate, care coordinator, system
navigator, and community ambassador that works to serve as a
gateway to the Rockwood Health System. The Nurse Navigators are
also a support system for the patient and his/her family at the
time of diagnosis, after and through treatment.

Brett L. Gourley, M.D.
Brett L. Gourley, M.D., joined Rockwood in September 2014. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and his medical degree from the Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland. Dr. Gourley completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He is Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified in both hematology and oncology. Dr. Gourley is a member of the the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
