About Chiropractic Care
Chiropractors specialize in the treatment of joint mobility
problems. Most people think of chiropractors as back doctors, but
in actuality chiropractors diagnose and treat a multitude of
conditions that extends beyond the spine. What makes our program
unique is that we work directly with your health care providers
(primary care physician, orthopedist, physical therapist, pain
specialist, etc.) to help coordinate your care.
Most people, at some point in their life, will experience spinal
pain. The vast majority of these cases are considered non-surgical.
While many times these symptoms will naturally pass and
self-resolve with time, a large portion of the patient population
will continue to experience persistent pain and periodic flare-ups
well beyond the start of their condition. This is when consulting a
chiropractor can prove helpful. Your chiropractor can evaluate your
condition, formulate a treatment strategy and help coordinate your
care to get you back to health.
What Makes Us Unique?
- We are the only chiropractic program in Spokane that is housed
within a multidisciplinary group.
- We have direct access to orthopedists, neurologist, physical
therapists, physiatrists, etc.
- We don't treat people for long, drawn out periods of time with
no end in sight.
- We offer a wide variety of treatment styles that are both
gentle and safe.
- We are not a "cookie-cutter" clinic. Each treatment is tailored
to the needs of the individual.
- At Rockwood Chiropractic Center we treat you like family and we
