The Rockwood Pediatrics department is a group medical practice
composed of pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners. Each
family should select the provider of their choice. We understand
that the person you choose is important, and our mission as a
department is to provide your child the best care possible.
Our Pediatric Care Team
Pediatricians are primary care physician who are specially
educated in the care of infants, children and adolescents.
Pediatric providers aren't just about shots and growth charts. They
are concerned with the child's entire spectrum of
development-physical, mental, social and emotional.
At Rockwood, our pediatric providers work as a team and share
their collective experience and knowledge to ensure that our young
patients receive the latest diagnostic and treatment options
available. With a family-centered approach to keeping children
healthy, we answer your questions, provide education, and give
reassurance and encouragement to you as a parent.

Well-child care truly is one of the greatest values in medicine.
A whole year of preventive or well-child care costs relatively
little, and provides huge value in both quality of care and in the
costly illnesses and injuries that are prevented, keeping the child
healthy not just for that year, but potentially for a lifetime.
Annual well-child visits are now covered without a co-pay or
out-of-pocket cost up to age 21. This includes a physical exam,
growth charting, blood pressure screening, vision and hearing
screening, vaccines, developmental/behavioral assessments, and
guidance on injury prevention, nutrition and more.
