Heavy bleeding is a debilitating condition that affects one in
five women ages 35 to 49 years old. Our Gynecology
Center provides in-office endometrial ablations, which
reduce or eliminate excessive bleeding by safely removing the

Lauren Armstrong, CNM, ARNP
Lauren Armstrong, CNM, ARNP, joined the Rockwood Midwifery Center in January 2012. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University in Bozeman, and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from San Diego State University/University of California at San Diego. Lauren completed clinical residencies through the UCSD School of Medicine to gain certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of Deaconess Hospital’s “Healthy Women” advisory board.
